Good Location despite current external works. Basic, but clean, facility.
Spoilt by bad internally generated noise from 0600 hrs. Very noisy corridors and poor room acoustics.

The location is great. The construction of the tramway will still take another two years; however, the construction works are only from 08.00 until around 17.00 o'clock. Since these are times which I usually don't spend in the hotel, it was fine with me, i.e. it was quiet in the evenings and nights. Nice, modern furniture. Rooms are rather small, but fine.
The female employees were all nice and helpful, but the only male employee I met was not. When checking out, he neither offered to help carrying my bag down the dark stairs nor did he wish a friendly good-bye. Bad service from this guy! A bit dissapointing when staff is unfriendly when cheking out...

I enjoyed good room in this hotel.
My room included central heating, multi-channel television, and a writing desk. The bathroom was big size and the beds big. All the staff was lovely and good, fixed my issues.

On arrival the Hotel Staff were very helpful and showed us where to park, of which was not far from the Hotel. The rooms are quite big and very clean and comfortable. The shower was fantastic also there are many restaurants around the Hotel to choose from of which all give good value. There has been over the last two years a tram line being built and renovation carried out within the main street but this now is away from the Hotel front so at night it is so peaceful. The Chateau is well worth a visit and not expensive. I would recommend this Hotel for its cleanness, value and location and look forward to coming back next April 2012
There is nothing wrong with the Hotel

Convenient spot close to ferries going to Ouessant island and not far from the central square with shops for some night time exploring. 🌙 the staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home!

Value for money
We requested an additional bed which wasn't available yet we were still charged for an additional person, who did not have a bed.

The rooms with the lovely view, nice balcony and comfy bed. Satisfactory breakfast to start the day with coffee/tea/juice and fresh croissants, for example. Fab location, a few steps away from everywhere.

The position in the centre of Brest is excellent. It is in a row of bars and restaurants. The bar/restaurant next door is comfortable and welcoming. It represents very good value. It is not luxurious and is small, but it meets all needs. I have stayed here before, as have a number of my colleagues. We shall continue to do so when in Brest
There is no shelf in the shower on which to place, for example, soap.
